EA’s Club Pogo Players Make Casual Games Sparkle with Purchase of Over 100 Million Virtual Gems

Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS) today announced that its casual gaming destination Club PogoTM, with over 1.5 million paying subscribers, has sold over 100 million2 virtual gems. Gems are the online credits, which Club Pogo players use to redeem badges, and items that customize their PogoTM Minis (online avatar). Club Pogo players enjoy over 100 original games including Poppit! ™, Word Whomp™, Tumble Bees, Squelchies, Qwerty and more. The site has a tremendous breadth of fun, accessible titles combined with the unique Pogo™ Chat feature, badge challenges, Pogo Minis, and thriving community has made Pogo the #1 stickiest site on the internet.1

In 2006, Pogo Gems became the newest feature on Club Pogo -- adding to the already strong and vibrant core Club Pogo experience. Since the introduction of Pogo Gems, players have created a more personal and exciting Club Pogo experience through the redemption of such items as:

- Premium Mini Add-ons: These items allow players to further spice up their avatar with animated content such as animated backgrounds or fun add ons such as flying butterflies or lights.
