NETGEAR® SSL VPN Concentrator Named “Networking Device Product of the Year” by Techworld

NETGEAR®, Inc. (Nasdaq: NTGR), a worldwide provider of technologically advanced, branded networking products, announced that its ProSafe® SSL VPN Concentrator 25 (SSL312) was named “Networking Device Product of the Year” at the prestigious Techworld Awards ceremony held at The Gibson Hall in London on June 27, 2007.

The SSL312 VPN concentrator provides small- and medium-sized businesses with secure and affordable remote access that is easy to deploy and maintain. It also enables easy access to corporate resources and files for mobile and remote users. Unlike traditional VPN solutions, the SSL312 requires no software to be loaded on to the client devices.

This year’s award marks the second year in which NETGEAR’s business-class ProSafe networking solutions have been recognized as best-in-class by Techworld. Last year, the ProSafe 24-Port 10/100 Stackable Smart Switch (FS728TS) was named “Infrastructure Product of the Year,” and the ProSafe VPN Firewall (FVX538) took the award for “Best Small Business Product of the Year.”
