Child Entrepreneur to inspire kids in America

WEBWIRE

My name is Leanna Archer from Leanna’s Inc., I am an 11 year old successful Entrepreneur with a hair product company in Long Island NY. I would love to let kids in America know that it’s never too young to start a business.

I am featured in the current July issue of HYPE HAIR MAGAZINE on page 33. The Editor in Chief of Hype Hair magazine (Adrienne Moore) called me a genius. Ebony magazine’s Brian Monroe’s assistant (Vickie Miller) is planning on writing a story about me in the fall as well. Sally Jessy Raphael interviewed me on her Talknet radio show (sallyjr.com)on July 26 ( the recording is on my website leannashair.com) . Jennifer Lewis-Hall from BETJ’s “My Two Cents.” interviewed me on her radio show in New Jersey on Saturday July 21st, she says that I am a little Maya Angelou mixed with Oprah Winfrey. New York NEWSDAY newspaper Reporter/Columnist Carrie Mason-Draffen wrote a story on how I started my business on Newsday.com under the business section and it will be in the paper on Monday July 30th. On Sunday July 29th, I will be giving a speech at the African American Museum in Philadelphia, PA at 12:00 pm. I am selected as a Finalist for the 1010Wins Tomorrow’s Newsmakers award.

People who knows about me believe I can make a difference and I know I can. They also believe that more people in America needs to know about me. The more that knows about me, the better I will be able to send the message to the kids that I want to inspire. Receiving an email from the president of BET entertainment Reginald Hudlin to congratulate me was a motivation.

I want to let kids know that if I can do it they can too. Some kids express themselves, they will let their parents know what their dreams are, and I’ll motivate their parents. For those kids who do not express themselves, they don’t tell their parents about their dreams and their parents are too busy to ask them anything, I’ll be an inspiration to those kids as well. I am Leanna Archer, 11 year old CEO of Leanna’s Inc. in Long Island New York inspired by Dr. Maya Angelou.

I want to go to schools in all over the US and let kids know that they can become anything they want to be, they just have to believe. I believe a Kid can motivate other Kids better than an adult can.

I have a lot of Great Ideas. One of them is that the fact that we all grow up celebrating birthdays every year and it’s not until we’re 16 that there is a Sweet Sixteen party, which I am looking forward to. I think that 13 should be a big deal too. We become a teenager and I think we should have Cards from Hallmark , etc. with this appropriate title “ Thriving Thirteen “ .
