30th annual meeting of Codex Alimentarius Commission

The Codex Alimentarius Commission is the joint international food standard-setting body of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the World Health Organization (WHO). Membership is comprised of 174 countries and the European Community.

At this year’s annual meeting, the Commission is considering several draft food standards for adoption. These include: draft Code of Hygienic Practice for Eggs and Egg Products and draft Revised Standard for Infant Formula and Formulas for Special Medical Purposes Intended for Infants and draft Code of Practice for Fish and Fishery Products.
