SAN DIEGO,- Twelve-year-old Vincent Giacalone of Emerson, N.J., took the “championship cup” in The UPS Store® “Design Dale’s New Ride” coloring contest.

His winning design will appear on the 2007 The UPS Store/Toys for Tots #44 Camry that NASCAR legend Dale Jarrett plans to race on Oct. 28 in Atlanta to kick off The UPS Store/Toys for Tots 2007 holiday fund-raising campaign.

The “Design Dale’s New Ride” coloring contest was open to kids ages 5-to-12 and attracted more than 1,500 submissions.

“This winning design will be a great way to help Toys for Tots celebrate its 60th anniversary,” said Jarrett. “More importantly, I hope this special paint scheme will help draw attention to The UPS Store/Toys for Tots campaign and encourage fans to help deserving kids this holiday season.”

According to Vincent, “This contest is about giving presents to kids in need, so why not make the car into a present? I’m a huge NASCAR fan and I’m excited to go to a race and meet Dale Jarrett.”

As part of his prize package, Vincent will receive a trip for three to watch the race Oct. 28 in Atlanta; a custom-fit, autographed racing suit to match the one Dale will wear, and a Crayola® prize pack including Color Explosion™ White, school tools from its new TOTAL TOOLS™ and Silly Scents™ crayons, markers and colored pencils. Additionally, Vincent’s school will receive 10,000 free copies from The UPS Store along with a Crayola art supplies package for the art department.
