The latest updates to key Fujitsu LifeBook and desktop models give customers the extra power they demand

Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific today releases major upgrades to three new corporate LifeBook notebooks and ESPRIMO desktop models, the LifeBook E8410 and A6030, and the ESPRIMO P5110. Boasting powerful hardware upgrades, a range of corporate friendly features and full Windows Vista™ compatibility, these new models offer the next generation levels of performance and security today’s professionals need for peak performance in any situation.

Designed with the demanding requirements of our users in mind, the new LifeBook and ESPRIMO models are build upon the advancements of the models they replace, while incorporating the latest features to add the power and value that our customers need to perform at – and beyond – their expectations.

LifeBook E8410 – Top-of-the-line, top in performance
The first new model in the range is the LifeBook E8410, which replaces the E8210, and is Fujitsu PC’s flagship business model, offering the “top of the line” features and is most decidedly “top in performance”. For the discerning business user or consumer demanding the best-in-class performance, the E8410 is a superb desktop alternative offering supreme performance, superior security and truly comprehensive communications capabilities.

Features include the next generation Intel® Centrino® Pro processor technology featuring the 64-bit Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor, NVIDIA external graphics, a 15.4-inch SuperFine Wide XGA TFT screen, a maximum of 4GB memory and a 120GB hard drive.

Intel® Centrino® Pro processor technology represents the helm of mobile computing performance. This powerful platform consists of Intel® 965PM Express Chipset, Intel® PRO/Wireless 4965AGN/4965AG wireless connection, Intel® 82566MM Gigabit Network Connection with Intel Active Management Technology (AMT) and Intel Virtualization Technology (VT) support. LifeBook A6030 – Full-featured performer
The successor to the popular LifeBook A6020, the new LifeBook A6030 is the value-priced yet feature-rich LifeBook which prudent consumers and corporate customers have been demanding.

Like the LifeBook E8410, the A6030 is also equipped with the next generation processor technology from Intel® along with an Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor with a faster 800MHz front side bus (FSB), the mobile 965GM express chipset and the latest 802.11n wireless support.

A richly powerful graphics capability is assured thanks to the new Intel® GMA X3100 video graphics, delivering exceptional improvements in performance over the previous GMA 950 video graphics. The GMA X3100’s video is faithfully and wonderfully reproduced on the LifeBook A6030’s brilliant 15.4-inch Wide XGA TFT screen, ideal for all your work requirements while also doubling as a delightful screen on which to view the latest DVD movies or online videos.

One very thoughtful feature is a spill-resistant keyboard to protect against life’s little accidents, ensuring the motherboard within is protected from damage by an accidental spill. Couple this with the Fujitsu 3D Shock Sensor which uses an advanced 3D accelerometer to protect against damage to the hard disk from vibrations and shocks, and you have a notebook computer that can handle the everyday rough and tumble of life with ease.

Expandability, connectivity and data read/write capabilities are assured thanks to 7x USB ports (two on the front, four at the rear and two internally), a DVD SuperMulti writer with Nero 7 (v7.5) Essentials, in-built audio and legacy ports including serial, parallel and PS/2 ports for keyboards and USB mice, while a Multimedia Card Reader gives you the flexibility in accessing most memory devices in the market today.
