SHARP ELECTRONICS names ALEX RIVERA Vice President of regional account sales

MAHWAH, NJ,- Sharp Electronics Corporation today announced that Alex Rivera has been named Vice President of Regional Account Sales for Sharp Electronics Marketing Company of America (SEMCA). In this position, Rivera will be responsible for the U.S. regional account sales of Sharp’s home entertainment products in the display, audio and video categories. Rivera reports to Michael Troetti, President of SEMCA.

A career executive in the consumer electronics industry, Rivera joins Sharp with extensive management experience at major CE manufacturers, where he managed sales to the retail and distributor channels. Most recently Rivera was with Toshiba America, where he served as a Vice President in the Consumer Products Division. Prior to that, Rivera spent eight years as the Director of Sales at Samsung Electronics, and before that as a Regional Manager at Sony.
