Share Your Opinions and Insight with the Visa Rugby Legends at Visa’s Online Interactive Website www.visarugby.com

SAN FRANCISCO/LONDON,-If you have ever argued about who the greatest rugby player was, or which country had the toughest draw at the Rugby World Cup, or how professionalism has changed the game, or just argued about rugby, then it’s time for your voice to be heard. The Visa Rugby Legends invite you to go online, engage, and share and compare your views and opinions with theirs beginning today on Visa’s Rugby World Cup (RWC) Debate website.

The Visa Rugby Legends, five of the world’s greatest rugby players - Zinzan Brooke (New Zealand), John Eales (Australia), Martin Johnson (England), Philippe Sella (France) and Joel Stransky (South Africa) - are official spokespersons for Visa’s global sponsorship of the Rugby World Cup 2007 (RWC 2007). In a newly created website, they share their opinions on a wide range of rugby topics and then invite you to have your say. How do your views match up with theirs? You’ll have to visit www.visarugby.com and join Visa’s RWC Debate to find out.

Fans will be able to share their views with fellow enthusiasts beginning today and running through 22 October 2007, at Visa’s RWC Debate website sponsored by Visa. The five Visa Rugby Legends will pose and discuss debate topics that range from which team will win the upcoming RWC 2007, and who was the greatest captain ever to lead a Rugby World Cup team, to why the New Zealand All Blacks haven’t won since 1987. New topics will be released weekly over the course of program.

Opinions are varied. For instance, when asked which player is likely to have the biggest impact on RWC 2007, Zinnie goes outside the box and names Jerry Collins of the All Blacks. But Philippe disagrees, arguing that Yannick Jauzion could well be the player to watch. For the opinions of the remaining three Visa Rugby Legends, you’ll have to visit the website. What do you think? Match your picks against those of the experts and then sit back and see if the rest of the world agrees.

Visa’s RWC Debate website is fully interactive so all rugby fans can voice their opinions and share them with other fans who may or may not agree. There is only one way to make your views count - visit www.visarugby.com and join in the debate.

Visa and the Rugby World Cup

The Rugby World Cup sponsorship provides Visa with a major global marketing platform, reaching some of its most important markets around the world. As spokespersons for Visa, the Visa Rugby Legends will be visible in a number of Visa merchant and cardholder promotions. Each of the Visa Rugby Legends also will be featured in a number of promotional programs, including communications to Visa’s member financial institutions, advertisements and television commercials.
