It all started in 1945 in Pickaway County, Ohio, when Lester Betts was born on a farm. He attended Salt Creek School for nine years and graduated from Logan Elm. He drove trucks most of his adult life and loved animals growing up. His love for kittens inspired him to write “The Story of Greybo and Possum.”
