EPA awards over $12 million to the State of Texas to administer environmental programs

he U.S. Environmental Protection Agency recently awarded $12,849,569 to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality’s Performance Partnership Grant (PPG). The funds will assist the TCEQ in administering the state’s environmental programs which seek to prevent, reduce, and eliminate water, air and hazardous waste pollution. The grant will also support public drinking water programs, standard-setting, monitoring, permitting and enforcement activities.
