Local artists are creating an inspired art space from a blighted industrial compound located 1+1/2 blocks South of Atlantic Ave on SE 2nd Ave. Kevin ’Kevro’ Rouse & Deb Sullivan are opening an Art Bar amidst their gallery, photo studio & outdoor creative space. They will open summer 2007. The press has taken notice. Cygnus Media reported while on location: “Kevro, an idealist notion not unlike the institution created by ballet dancer Mikhail Barysknikov in Manhattan for artists.” Art Business News Magazine International has twice featured their ’from ghetto to gallery’ story.
