JV Media Design takes silver in the 2007 Summit Creative Awards


April 23, 2007 (Costa Mesa, CA) – JV Media Design takes silver in the 2007 Summit Creative Awards competition for the work on their own company website, www.jvmediadesign.com.

“Great design isn’t about winning awards, but the recognition that others enjoy your creativity is positive reinforcement,” said Sherry Holub, JVM’s Creative Director.

Throughout its thirteen-year history, the Summit organization has established itself as one of the premier arbiters of communication excellence. Companies and individuals from more than 50 countries across five continents participate annually in its awards programs. Using rigorous evaluative criteria and blind judging processes, its competitions reward those firms truly deserving of special recognition. This year’s judging panel included professionals from TBWA, Ogilvy & Mather, Door Number 3, Paragon Marketing Communications and others. There are fewer than 13% of entries that receive winning recognition.

“Winning a Summit Creative Award is a significant accomplishment. The combination of our excellent judges and the tough judging criteria ensures that only deserving entries receive Summit Creative recognition,” said Jocelyn Luciano, Executive Director for the Summit Awards.

The Summit Awards organization is dedicated to furthering excellence in the communications industry. It administers rigorous awards competitions throughout the year with the goal of recognizing companies and individuals that do more than what is necessary, that go beyond the expected.

JV Media Design is a full service high end web design company based out of Southern California and has been in business since 1995. Sherry Holub is the Creative Director at JVM and she graduated from UCLA School of Art in 1995. She started the company shortly thereafter and has been running full force ever since. She writes both design and marketing articles and is a member of the AIGA, IAVA and the NAPP.
