Originals Bring Back adidas: Discover The New Collection Inspired by AS Roma 1993
adidas and AS Roma unveil the new Originals Bring Back collection, inspired by the rich heritage of the Giallorossi. This exclusive drop celebrates the club’s past, reviving the iconic colors and designs of the early ‘90s.
At the heart of the five-piece collection is the 1993 match jersey, meticulously reproduced to capture the essence of the original. This iconic version features the signature adidas Originals Trefoil, Piero Gratton’s renowned “Lupet-to” wolf logo, and that of the emblematic sponsor of the time - Barilla - on the chest. Furthermore, the collection offer fans the season’s track jacket, a full navy tracksuit with yellow and red stripes, and a pair of Gazelle sneakers dedicated to Roma supporters. The sneakers echo the jersey’s shades, proudly displaying the “Lupetto” logo on the back.
Drawing from AS Roma’s timeless aesthetic, the entire collection combines the spirit of football with adidas’ culture wear tradition.
To mark the launch, adidas presents the short film “Bring Back to Rome ‘93,” following two young fans on their quest for a rare piece of history hidden in a vintage shop. The object of desire? The 1993 adidas AS Roma jersey, tucked away in a carefully guarded box. The two young fans retrieve the jersey and wear it with satisfaction, along with the other pieces that make up the collection, completing their ideal journey through time.
The new adidas Originals Bring Back AS Roma collection is available from today, 22 November, at AS Roma Stores, store.asroma.com, adidas stores, the adidas app, adidas.com, and at the official retail partner JD.
adidas and AS Roma extend their gratitude to Riccardo Viola Editore for their invaluable support through access to their archive of publications on AS Roma’s storied history.
