Enel is the new Official Energy Partner of S.S. Lazio. On the first day of the championship season, it made its entrance on the pitch at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, appearing on the LEDs, big screens and backdrops for pre- and post-match interviews.

The Electricity Group will be alongside the Biancocelesti for the next two seasons at all home matches in the Championship season and Coppa Italia and will offer the club’s fans a portfolio of dedicated energy products and services. This is further proof of Enel’s great commitment, having played a crucial role in Italy’s energy independence and security for over 60 years.

“The collaboration with S.S. Lazio strengthens our presence in football as an energy partner of one of the clubs in this country with the greatest traditions. Thanks to this new synergy, to add to the initiatives already underway with the most popular teams in Serie A such as Juventus, Inter, Napoli, Roma, Torino and Atalanta, Enel has become the energy player with the highest number of partnerships in the top Italian football league,” said Nicolò Mardegan, Head of External Relations at Enel. “For the world of sports as well as for Enel, passion and dedication are fundamental values to be put into practice on an everyday basis, to bring energy to the Italian people by connecting the country from north to south using increasingly smart, modern and digitalized grids.”

We are delighted with this major partnership.” In the words of Lazio’s marketing manager Marco Canigiani: “As a leader in the energy and renewables sector, Enel represents Italian excellence throughout the world and the decision to come together with S.S. Lazio to consolidate its presence in football really fills us with pride”.

Enel is a multinational energy provider and a leading integrated operator in the global energy and renewables markets. At global level, it is the largest renewable private player, the foremost electricity distribution network operator by number of customers served, and the biggest retail operator by customer base.
