Author Biography
Mr. Ward was born a 5th generation Andover, Massachusetts native. His dad introduced him to Red Sox baseball at age 4. After moving westward with his parents at age 5, his roots remain in New England. He loved playing baseball and golf. In 1978, he attended Golf Digest Instruction School, where he studied under Bob Toski. Now mostly retired, he enjoys golf, puzzles, guitar jamming, and spending time with his family. Two of his favorite accomplishments include shooting an eight under par 28 (6 birdies, one eagle, two pars) on a regulation par 36, 9-hole course witnessed by his mentor, Larry Sewell. His other fondest memories have seven aces so far.
