Patient Portal Technologies Signs Agreement With Worldnet Communications, Inc., To Deploy Advanced Healthcare Platform To Patients

Patient Portal Technologies, Inc. (PPT) (Pink Sheets:PPRG) announced today the company has signed an agreement with Worldnet Communications, Inc., doing business as TMS, to deploy their advanced healthcare platform to millions of patients. TMS has a 20-year history in healthcare services and is a recognized leader in the delivery of patient communication services. The agreement allows PPT to market its entire suite of process improvement, scheduling, outcomes enhancement, and managed video delivery services to TMS’ large customer base. As part of the agreement, PPT will also manage the operation of several complex hospital contracts TMS recently obtained including Meadowlands Hospital and a premier healthcare system in Central PA.

According to Kevin Kelly, CEO of PPT, “We are very excited to commence this relationship with TMS because it gives us a stronghold in the Northeast U.S. This venture increases our product depth, and allows us to rapidly deploy and manage our new enhanced services for patients in these premier hospitals. The patient database and patient flow from the TMS hospital customers augments our ability to deliver condition specific video content to targeted patients and enhances our process improvement product suite. Our market penetration will be greatly enhanced by working with an established company in the Northeast.”

TMS entered this agreement after extensive market research. They recognized a need to enhance their hospital relationship and determined that PPT fit the bill perfectly. As part of the management agreement, PPT will pre-position three premier hospitals with the latest video delivery technology as well as the process improvement, outcomes, and scheduling platforms. These services will allow the hospitals to meet their JCAHO mandates, improve efficiency, and enhance the patient experience.
