Travel services company FHR have announced that they will be supporting the British Heart Foundation throughout April, May and June 2007. The Gatwick-based company, which provides airport hotels and parking at all major airports across the UK, aims to raise a minimum of £25,000 by donating £2 for every hotel and 50p for every airport parking space booked during this time.

Graham Greenaway, E-Marketing Manager for FHR, says “We’re extremely proud to be supporting the British Heart Foundation and hope that we can raise a lot of money for heart research that ultimately saves lives.” It is estimated that each day in the UK nearly 600 people loose their lives to heart and circulatory disease. The money raised by FHR will go towards the British Heart Foundation’s Help a Heart campaign which aims to raise £1.5 million with fund-raising activity throughout June.

To coincide with the launch of the campaign, the company website BookFHR.com has been re-designed to promote the donations and incorporate the British Heart Foundation branding. Customers booking with a credit card on-line can also choose to make an additional donation to the Help a Heart campaign when making their reservation.
