Ramada Jarvis UK delivers new in-room entertainment services with Philips and Quadriga

Amsterdam, the Netherlands/ London, United Kingdom - Ramada Jarvis Hotels has unveiled the latest Flat TV based advanced entertainment and internet platform across 43 UK hotels, delivering the ultimate in-room guest experience to 5,200 rooms. The implementation, delivering a superb range of entertainment and internet services from hotel technology specialist Quadriga, will equip all Ramada Jarvis’ hotel rooms with the latest Philips FlatTVs as part of a 47 million UK-wide modernisation programme designed to provide the ultimate guest experience.


The rollout allows Ramada Jarvis to offer its guests advanced services like on-demand movies and internet access, combined with sharp pictures and superior sound quality for an outstanding audiovisual experience. The 23-inch FlatTVs are also HD-ready, ensuring Ramada Jarvis will be able to take full advantage of the next generation of broadcasting technology.



The introduction of Quadriga’s Genesis digital-IP in room system provides a unique array of guest services including the latest blockbuster movies and popular music selections available on-demand, so guests can watch and listen to what they want, when they want. Guests will also benefit from Internet on TV as well as high speed internet access from a secure wired connection in every room, delivered via a partnership with SolutionInc, a leader in internet provisioning, management and billing.



Drawing on its long heritage in delivering cutting-edge technology to the home, Philips has a wide portfolio of customisable displays designed specifically for the hospitality market. Philips is closely partnered with Quadriga to supply customized display solutions, allowing hotels to offer advanced in-room display technology to their guests.

Ramada Jarvis Hotels will also benefit from the proven additional revenues generated by Quadriga’s Genesis solution, as well as a range of sales and marketing opportunities including the ability to promote their brand and services to guests directly in the room and the ability to offer an attractive all-inclusive service pricing offer.
