AT&T Signs Contract With Aviation Consultants SH&E, Inc.

AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) has announced a new contract with Simat, Helliesen and Eichner, Inc (SH&E), an aviation consulting firm dedicated to air transportation with headquarters in New York and nine U.S. locations. Under the terms of the contract, AT&T will serve as the primary networking services provider, delivering AT&T Enterprise Hosting Services and AT&T MPLS Virtual Private Network (VPN) Services companywide.

AT&T Enterprise Hosting Services will help ensure the accessibility and availability of SH&E’s critical data and applications. AT&T VPN services are fully managed network-based solutions provisioned on the AT&T IP Network and will provide SH&E the necessary bandwidth to support its various locations. In addition, the network will enable unified, real-time communications across its system regardless of geographic placement.

This solution, which aligns with AT&T’s customer-focused convergence strategy, will connect the company headquarters with each of its remote facilities, resulting in increased efficiency and rapid response to customers. The expanded bandwidth and added redundancy of AT&T’s fully meshed network will provide SH&E with long-term scalability as well as network services capable of supporting future applications of advanced technologies.
