E.W. Morris Introduces a Fascinating and Lesson-filled Adventure for Young Readers in Her New Children’s Book

“Where is My Tail” followed the story of a young rabbit who wanted to play with other animals and have fun. He came across two dogs who were playing a game of “wag your tail” and discovered that he did not have a tail of his own. Being disheartened about it, he tried to look into the tails of other animals and thus began his own fascinating adventure.

E.W. Morris strategically introduced the animal characters such as the dog, squirrel, alligator, cows, mouse, and horses and provided smart details about them. The animals’ movements were being pointed out as well as their colors and sizes, instilling language lessons, particularly with action words for verbs and descriptive words for adjectives. The sounds or expressions that these animals had made were also repeated, enabling the children to repeat after them and learn another language skill such as pronunciation.
