The Dodo Premieres a First Look at the President and First Lady’s Newest Pet Cat, Willow

In celebration of National Pet Day, The Dodo, the #1 animal & pet brand [Tubular Labs, April 2022], premiered never-before-seen footage of Willow, the First Family’s new cat, detailing her journey from a farm in Pennsylvania to the White House. This is the first look at Willow’s life at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue since joining the Biden family at the White House.

Willow is a gray, short-haired tabby, who First Lady Jill Biden named after her hometown, Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. The two-year-old presidential pet made a lasting impression on Dr. Biden in 2020 when she jumped on stage and interrupted her remarks during a campaign stop. The owner of the farm saw their immediate bond and knew that Willow belonged with Dr. Biden.

Willow is the first cat to live in the White House since President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush’s cat, India.
