Windward Announces New Hire For Federal Solutions Group

HERNDON, VA -- Windward, the premier operational management consulting and systems engineering firm, today announced that Mike Proper has joined the firm, leading the Federal Solutions group. Mike will be responsible for promoting Windward solutions within the federal government. “Mike’s long track record working with federal customers allows him to match Windward solutions in systems integration services to the needs of federal customers,” said Michael Biddick vice president of solutions. “I am confident that Mike will bolster Windward’s contribution to its federal government clients and ultimately support Windward’s growth strategies.”

In previous roles, Mike has served as senior vice president of business development for SiloSmashers where he was directly responsible for developing new and maintaining current backlog business in the federal and commercial markets. He has also held positions that include vice president of business development at Robbins-Gioia, director of North America sales operations at ON Technology and eight years active duty in the United States Army where his assignments included a tour in the Republic of Korea, the Defense Communications Agency, now DISA, and the White House Communications Agency (WHCA).
