Wendy Veronica Lisare Releases Audiobook Version of Her Book “The Other Side Of Fear”

Now available in audiobook format, “The Other Side Of Fear: My Journey Into Perfect Love” (FriesenPress; 2019) by Wendy Veronica Lisare is a compelling testimony to the courage and faith of one woman who overcame a life of abuse, fear, and low self-esteem. She experienced the ultimate love of God and discovered her identity as a daughter of the King of kings.

In her guesting on Emmy Award-winning journalist Kate Delaney’s syndicated radio program America Tonight, the author shared her inspiration for writing the book: “I started keeping journals in 1990 of many things I was going through, sometimes a gratitude journal, writing out people‘s encouraging words to me and when breakthrough happens, when I was in an influential place, (and) when something I did really impacted someone else. When I traveled, I started keeping journals.” The journals later formed as a basis for “The Other Side Of Fear.”

She added: “I just want to look back on positive things. The other thing that happened was what people kept telling me. As I told bits and pieces of my story, they all said, ‘You should write a book, you should write a book.’ The final inspiration was what my pastor-teacher said, ‘What legacy are you going to leave to your children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren?’

“I felt like I was hearing it all over again, and it was necessary to put down stories.”

Author Bio

Wendy worked as a registered nurse on the maternity ward and nursery for four decades. She was married for 27 years and raised 2 daughters who have 3 children each. Her challenging history includes childhood abuse, divorce and cancer. She has been on a journey of learning to overcome her fears and discovering her true identity and value. Attending Christian conferences, reading books on personal growth, listening to Biblical messages have been her passion. Wendy never turned down an opportunity to grow and learn…to be changed from the mindset of a victim into that of a powerful woman. Travelling to many countries and meeting new people is always rewarding.

She went on several missionary trips including the YWAM school and outreach to the Philippines. As well, Wendy attended the 2 year Bethel School of Supernatural ministry where she learned an inner healing model which she uses to lead others into their freedom. Teaching the principles she has learned is her passion…especially on praying powerfully, overcoming fear, and forgiveness.

She has served as leader of prayer teams, volunteered at the Pregnancy Care Center, counselled many people with addictions and served as an elder in her church.
