Miles was born in Washington, D.C where he learned about politics, democracy, and diplomacy. He is a lover of poetry thanks to his captivation of language and vocabulary that started during his high school years. He also sang as a member of a gospel choir for 11 years and became a professional actor in Hollywood for ten years.
