Social Entrepreneurship and Community Impact Recognized by Open Access Publisher

The independent academic publisher in healthcare, Partners in Digital Health (PDH), the publisher of the open access journal Telehealth and Medicine Today (TMT) has announced a new and innovative board position specifically focused on supporting social entrepreneurship and impact in local and global communities.
 
PDH has challenged old methods, values and reward systems in biomedical journal publishing and continues to push the boundaries of knowledge transfer and modern transformation while leading the way in sharing global research to support the implementation of the quadruple aim of healthcare.

The new Associate Editor for Social Entrepreneurship and Community Impact, Paul Barach, MD, MPH, Maj (ret.), is a practicing clinician, expert in improving healthcare quality, faculty and senior advisor to Dean at the Jefferson College of Population Health, USA, and holds visiting professorships in Austria and Australia.
 
“I am incredibly excited to join TMT’s Editorial Board and lead this groundbreaking effort to support and disseminate the findings from social entrepreneurial research projects that often do not see the public light. I am confident these publications will provide the technical and implementation knowledge which will result in a huge contribution to quality of care, consumer wellness and community building for the global community, and especially the socially underserved,” said Dr Barach.
