Book Excellence Awards Shines Light on the Importance of Reinvention

Danene lives her dream life on a quiet lake in Southwest Michigan. A true hippie minimalist, she cast off everything that no longer suited her, and is content living alone, with her chatty cat Timone. She loves listening to music. She rarely watches TV. She loves to write and has recently started to blog. She loves all things artistic. She enjoys downhill skiing. Lake Michigan is her “happy place.” She is Mom to a beautiful, talented, self-sufficient daughter. Danene earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Central Michigan University and a Master of Education degree from Aquinas College.
