Following the decades-long tradition of NHL players growing out their beards during the Stanley Cup® Playoffs, Bud Light is proud to introduce #PlayoffBeerds, where Bud Light will shave off the cost hockey fans pay for their 12-packs as their team advances in the Playoffs and favorite players’ beards get longer and longer. The 11 NHL® fanbases who will have the potential to get their beer costs slashed throughout the Playoffs include: Colorado Avalanche (Colorado), Washington Capitals (Washington D.C., Maryland), Florida Panthers (Florida), Tampa Bay Lightning (Florida), Boston Bruins (Massachusetts), New York Islanders (New York), Vegas Golden Knights (Nevada), Pittsburgh Penguins (Pennsylvania), Carolina Hurricanes (South Carolina), Nashville Predators (Tennessee) and the Minnesota Wild (Minnesota). 

Starting Thursday, May 13 and throughout the Stanley Cup® Playoffs, every time a team from a participating city wins a Playoff series, Bud Light will provide a $2 rebate to hometown fans 21+ good toward a Bud Light 12-pack or larger of beer. The rebate increases by $2 with every series win, ultimately crowning the Stanley Cup® winning city with a complementary Bud Light 12-pack to celebrate their championship.
