Chase Freedom Customers Can Redeem Rewards Points to Contribute to the American Cancer Society in an Easy and Convenient Way

WILMINGTON, Del. – Feb. 12, 2007 – Chase Bank USA, N.A., a division of JPMorgan Chase & Co. [NYSE: JPM], is now offering Chase Freedom customers the option of contributing to the American Cancer Society. Cardmembers will be able to redeem rewards points to make a contribution over the phone or online, the same way that they redeem points for other items. This is the first time that Chase and the Society have teamed up to offer Chase cardmembers the opportunity to support the American Cancer Society.

“We listened to our cardmembers, and they wanted an easy way to give back to the American Cancer Society,” said Stacy Hamilton, senior vice president of product development for Chase Card Services. “Chase Freedom now offers our customers the freedom to support the fight against cancer and makes this act of giving as easy as possible. We continually work to enhance our cards and rewards programs.”

Chase Freedom customers now have the option to redeem 2,500 points for a $25 contribution to the American Cancer Society. Chase also encourages cardmembers to contribute through existing American Cancer Society channels. Chase will contribute a minimum of $75,000 to the Society in connection with the Chase Freedom promotion.
