Forbes Announces It’s Third-Annual “CMO Next” List, A Definitive Lineup of Marketing Executives Who Are Redefining The Role

On the heels of its CxO Platform announcement, Forbes today unveils its third-annual “CMO Next” list, which spotlights innovative marketing leaders who are transforming and redefining their role, their business and the marketing industry.

·       “As the Covid-19 crisis continues to reshape the world, chief marketing officers are the driving force behind business growth while creating positive transformation for some of the world’s most groundbreaking companies,” said Marty Swant, Editor, Forbes CMO Network. “And as the CMO role continues to evolve, it becomes more evident that marketing leaders are reimagining business and leadership more broadly.”

·       The 50 honorees on this year’s ranking are using innovation, technology and creativity to reimagine culture, marketing and their role within the C-Suite. Of the 50 industry leaders, nearly half of them have joined their respective companies or became CMO near the start and during the global health pandemic.

Notable list makers on this year’s ranking includes: Melissa Grady, Chief Marketing Officer, Cadillac; Jessie Becker, SVP of Marketing, Impossible Foods; Tesa Aragones, Chief Marketing Officer, Discord; Everette Taylor, Chief Marketing Officer, Artsy; Nick Tran, Head of Global Marketing, TikTok among others.

·       To coincide with the launch of the CMO Next list, Forbes is hosting a CMO Next Virtual Event on February 11, 2021, which will feature conversations about how markets are using data for better marketing, how markets found their calling and how the next generation of CMOs are driving adoption of the new future.
