The Love Journey Through Time in the Eyes of Faithful Servant

A lighthearted novel about love, faith, and family to pull your heartstrings

Miami, FL – WEBWIRE

A heartwarming story of faith, family, and love is brought to us by Ann W. Phillips as she shares her novel, “The Lady of Esterbrooke: Loves Journey Through Time.”

The book is a story that centers around the Esterbrooke plantation, where the lifelong commitment of love by Marla and Lance, the main protagonist of this novel, had started. Marla, the daughter of the plantation manager owned by the Bridwell’s, is a free-spirited lady. She loves to ride horses and was pretty satisfied with her life in the country. She loved her father and was very contented seeing to his needs. However, the twists of fate had arranged for her to meet the son of the Bridwells; Lance. It wasn’t love at first sight, but they surely found a love to last a lifetime.

The novel is a series of lighthearted moments that will certainly warm every reader’s heart. The relatability of the scenes touched by the novel will pull heartstrings and invoke a wholesome feeling of joy and gratefulness. It’ll inspire faith and hope through the circumstances Marla and Lance had gone through. On top of a great plot, Phillips also did a splendid job with the character development. Her descriptive writing can create a mental image of her characters, while her creative narration will show us their perspective.

Overall, the book is a faith-based, literal masterpiece. The whole plot is a perfect mixture of a lot of elements. Life, romance, values, and most of all, faith. Truly a great work from Ann W. Phillips and a timely one too. With all that we are going through this time, the pandemic and other issues, a breath of faith and hope can definitely help. The book delivers those.

Flip through the pages and learn more about the life of the Lady of Esterbrooke. See life through her perspective and carry the faith till the end.

About the Author
Ann W. Phillips was born on Estherville Plantation in Georgetown, South Carolina. Her dad was the caretaker of that plantation at the time. He was a self-taught watch and clock repairman, he put down wells and he worked on the railroad trestle. Her dad and her mother were hard-working, God-fearing, honest people. They were respected by their community and everyone they got to know them. They were never rich in earthly riches, but they were rich in what really mattered.

Ann’s dad and mom were animal lovers, and they taught her brother and she, to respect nature. She had a dream childhood filled with love and respect. She married her husband Stephan Lamar Phillips in 1963. They moved to Mount Pleasant, SC and she still lives there. They had two great children, Cheryl and Stephen.

Ann worked as a school lunchroom manager and wrote stories in her spare time. She finally decided to publish her children’s book, “Friends are Everywhere.” Then she wrote “The Lady of Esterbrooke” after her husband passed away.

Ann’s dad had been a caretaker of so many plantations while they were growing up, that she decided to use a plantation as her story’s backdrop. She is now living with her crazy cat, Charlie. She is working on her third book and hopes to have it published by next year.
