Bloomberg Releases Norwegian Government Bond Index Family

Bloomberg today announced that the Bloomberg Barclays fixed income benchmark indices have been extended with the launch of a new Norwegian index family.

The new index family was developed in consultation with the Norwegian asset management community to support the needs of this key market. The offering includes the following Norwegian treasury debt indices, encompassing maturity sub-indices and T-bills:

Since 1973, the Bloomberg Barclays Indices have been the most widely-used indices for fixed income investors seeking objective, rules-based, and representative benchmarks to measure asset class risk and returns. As of August 24, 2021, the indices will be branded as the Bloomberg Indices.
