With the holidays coming up and families upset by the wayward mothers, a good friend of Maggie’s offers them a primitive cabin in the Colorado Mountains as a getaway from the mayhem they have created. Dealing with life and each other in the tiny mountain town takes them on unexpected twists and eventful turns. The four women also share laughter and tears while watching over Maggie’s brother’s hilarious Great Dane dog, who adds joy and color to their adventure.

The author narrates in this book the realistic story of every woman who is traveling through changes. The book deals with contemporary issues in a way that is both emotional and entertaining. About The Author
Peggy Warren has been a writer all her life, mostly a poet and short story writer. The novels on this site are her latest works and they focus on mid-life issues for both men and women. Peggy has a deep interest in exploring the complexities of personal issues and writes about them with passion and insight, as seen in the third book, Very Much a Woman’s Book, 78 pages of verse and drawings about what it’s like to be a woman.
