About the Author

Joseph O. E. Ohanugo was born in Nigeria to a well-knit family with exceptional coherence. He was brought up by parents who were both his parent, and his friend-cordial relationship existed. This has empowered him to tell the stories of his childhood experiences. Joseph held a Higher Elementary Teachers Training Certificate in Nigeria before transitioning to the United States of America.

Joseph has an M.B.A. degree in Finance from Saint Joseph University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and this was after his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Lincoln University in Oxford, Pennsylvania. After graduation from Saint Joseph University, he returned to Nigeria. For twenty years, he worked as a Company Director in the family-owned trading business-Ohanugo Brothers & Associates Limited, which was based in Lagos, Nigeria. As a director, he was in charge of Sales and Human Resources. While in Nigeria, he served as National General Secretary of the Nigerian Association of Masters of Business Administration (NAMBA), an organization for holders of an M.B.A. degree in Nigeria.

Joseph is the author of the book “The Escape,” which was published in 2011. He is a Christian by faith, and he was a church organist for many years.

In 2018 Joseph was awarded Knighthood. Knight of Saint Christopher (CKSC}- A defender of the faith by Anglican Diocese of the Trinity (ADOTT) A mission of the Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion in U.S.A. and Canada. He is now, Sir. Joseph O.E. Ohanugo. At present, he works part-time for Chester Upland School District in Chester, Pennsylvania. He is happily married with two adorable sons and a daughter and some grandchildren.
