On June 7, World Food Safety Day is celebrated, BRF, one of the largest food companies in the world, guided by the Quality Policy that establishes good practices in manufacturing and customer service, reinforces food safety measures throughout the jail.

As part of the actions, the Company launched the Ecco Project, an interactive platform composed of virtual journeys to help people reduce food waste in their homes. In it, consumers will see tips on how to minimize waste with actions applicable to daily life, ensuring access to reliable and transparent information for the sustainable use of their food.

In addition to this initiative, BRF supports the five pillars of Food Safety defined by the UN from field to table. We work with internationally recognized certifications, ensuring the quality and safety of BRF’s branded products, monitoring all stages of the Company’s value chain, providing food with nutritional value and information to millions of consumers.

BRF guarantees production safely. Since monitoring in all stages of animal creation, the Company establishes good management practices always aiming at biosecurity, animal welfare and traceability. With this, the company invests in training employees and integrated employees and adopts a strict control of the products used in animal production.

Our quality policy promotes a culture of quality and commitment to the development of nutritious products, with transparency on their labels, ensuring clear information so that consumers have a balanced and safe diet.

BRF is also part of the Consumer Goods Forum promoting the improvement of the production chain, encouraging programs such as global markets and working together with associations to promote food safety where we are present.
