After taking a career hiatus, Joe Hingira, a semi-professional football player, looks to return to the field to pursue new challenges. He is currently signed under Tony Robinson’s agency academy Galacticos Soccer Academy, based in Liverpool.

Joe Hingira started his career in St Helens, Merseyside before he decided to move to Manchester in 2014 to follow his dreams. Salford City was the team he went down to take part in trials for and after a few training sessions Joe found himself wearing the famous red shirt of his new home team: Salford. He wanted to stay there and continue his career, but unfortunately, the former Salford city Football Club captain had a hard time during his years representing the club, and saw his exit before his dreams of playing for the area he lives in were realised.

Six-foot and one powerhouse, Joe Hingira is now known for tearing the defence apart with entertaining skills and a willingness to chase the ball down when needed; and to work by his teammates showing great sportsmanship. Joe would always quickly win the love from both sides of the pitch, as his style of play would occasionally wow the crowd.

Joe Hingira is known to be a very hard-working individual on the pitch, doing whatever he could to motivate his players and works well together to focus on getting a win. “When we are on the pitch, most of the time I don’t even know who my opponent is, all I know is that we’ve come here to get three points.” A reassuring speech from a screwed-on captain is what any team requires.
After having a rocky season while playing for the U18’s/reserves, Joe saw himself in the eyes of the 1st team gaffer, as he featured in a cup game being on the bench for current Stricker Danny Webber. At Salford he won the Coach’s Player of the Year award. The picture (above) shows Joe standing next to former Bury Football Club coach Ryan Kidd, and Salford City College principal Phil Dolan; who Joe says helped him immensely while developing as a player.

Joe was previously featured on an MTV show, hosted by reality TV star Charlotte Dawson. Being on the show brought Joe increased exposure, but he reassures that he is still looking to continue his plans in football. “This was just an ‘off time period’,” he said. “Football is where my heart is and I wish to pursue it and not reality TV; even though I did enjoy the experience and would do it again.”

Joe kept a low profile during his brief Reality TV encounter and didn’t posted it on his social media profiles. Joe’s experience on MTV shows that he is a fun outgoing individual who isn’t scared of trying new things and is looking in multiple ways to enjoy himself when he’s not on the pitch.

Joe is currently signed with an agency Galacticos Soccer Academy based in Liverpool. He currently lives in Manchester, where his contract will end in 2021 with the agency and is looking to renew that relationship. Where will he go next? Who will sign him? Let’s keep an eye out for him.
