Ron remembers that Jack Adkisson, known as Fritz von Erich, was once a standout football player in Southern Modernist University, until he met Stu Hart, which changed his life forever. This led the first von Erich to create World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW), which attracted several television markets at one point. The famous downfall before the rise was the sudden death of his seven-year-old son from an accidental electrocution. Even with a booming career, tragedy struck the family, until his death in 1997.
