Do you feel like your back is up against the wall, but you have no one to blame but your own will? This is the same feeling that the author Tallulah Banks’ feels when she got incarcerated for 142 days at Orange County Florida jail. Her book “Pigeon with a Bright View” tells her story and the stories of the people she met during her stay.

In this book, readers will see what it is like inside a real prison and interact with the prisoners who live there. Such men and women have nothing but time. They have all the option to chose to use the opportunity to be open to and listen to God and feel the acceptance and redemption as a result.

Tallulah has an amazing story of redemption-turning darkness into light, not only in her life but also in the lives of the victims and the prisoners involved. She conveys the message of God’s redemptive love in a moving and provocative way, without the use of big religious words or complicated theological thoughts.

It’s a well-written book telling compelling stories of healing and finding hope of becoming valued members of society. The readers will be moved in unexpected ways.

This book is recommended to anyone that has lived the valleys of peaks of life. Folks who are struggling with forgiveness; for those who are dealing with anger or loss. The book will provide insight into how genuine unconditional love is.
