2Wire Opens New Customer Care Call Center in San Antonio to Accommodate Rapid Business Growth
San Jose, California - December 4, 2006 - 2Wire, a provider of broadband service delivery platforms, is expanding operations into the state of Texas, beginning with a new facility in San Antonio. Headquartered in Silicon Valley, 2Wire is rapidly growing to meet the needs of major telecom broadband providers, and plans to hire hundreds of employees to staff the new facility.
The San Antonio facility, which includes a 38,000 square foot call center staffed by more than 500 technical support agents, officially began operations on November 30, 2006.

2Wire’s Customer Care business provides technical support for home networking and broadband subscribers, and also includes a call center in Tempe, Arizona that employs over 500 technical support agents and has been in operation since 2002.
