Pasadena, CA – WEBWIRE

Best Seller Publishing announces the release of Craig Whelden’s new book, “Leadership: The Art of Inspiring People to Be Their Best.” It will be available for free download in the Amazon Kindle Store on July 29th.

This book vividly brings to life 50 years of leadership and life lessons, told in a compelling and sometimes very personal way. A master storyteller, the author does this in 24 easily digestible chapters, starting with “character,” the basic building block for all great leaders. From there, he addresses the importance of trust, four different methods of mentoring, delivering under pressure, setting organizational expectations, breaking down cultural barriers, effective communications, leaving a legacy, risk management, and many more topics that have everyday application for all of us.

Widely acclaimed by dozens of corporate leaders and senior military leaders, he has the unique ability to connect to readers through storytelling and takeaways that anyone can then apply: in the corporate world, the non-profit community, or simply in your everyday life. Two bonus appendixes are included that are tools he personally used as a senior leader in the military: his “Philosophy of Command” -- time tested over 30 years -- and a self-reflection on himself as a leader titled “Whelden on Whelden.”

You will not be disappointed!

“Leadership” by Craig Whelden will be free and available for download on Amazon for 5 days (07/29/2019 – 08/02/2019) at: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NKFQJC8.

Leadership” has a 5.0-star rating on Amazon.com. Here’s what some people are saying:

“This book is filled with practical wisdom and insights about developing as a leader. I like the book because it provides lots of tools and lessons that I can put to use to grow my leadership skills. The author invites us on a personal journey and shares his successes and failures. He portrays integrity and humility as core elements in leadership. That resonated with me. I also like the addendum where he shares his leadership philosophy and Whelden on Whelden. Both, I think, are useful as development tools. I wondered if the book might be useful only to those in military environments and was pleasantly surprised to learn that the lessons are just as applicable anywhere.” – Jessie T.

“Really great book on the ins and outs dos and don’ts of leadership. Very well described intentions and consequences. As a current business owner it’s very important to pour into myself and make sure I’m giving the best to my business and clients. I found Craig’s accounts of interpretation spot on for any workforce. The places he traveled and the amount of responsibly he had would overwhelm many. He surrounded himself with other great leaders and continued to learn. I really enjoyed this book from the personal stories he shared to the feeling of Craig wanting to help make other leaders stronger.” – Michael P.
