Author Philip Wittig cautions Americans to reconnect to God

His book reveals concrete evidences on the downfall of America.

In the Old Testament, Israel was consecrated and dedicated to God through Abraham and his descendants whereas America was dedicated to God by the colonists and rededicated to God by George Washington. However, the Israelites by dishonoring God and His Laws began its journey down the road of apostasy . They defiantly rejected God’s warnings to repent and turn from their wicked ways. Finally, God reluctantly allowed the evil Assyrians to destroy the nation and disperse the people.

Similarly, America also has been traveling down the road of apostasy since mid-twentieth century by dishonoring God and His laws… America continues to defy God’s warnings to repent and return to Him. The book cites such instances as the loss of the Vietnam War and the terror attacks on the Pentagon and the World Trade Center. “These losses are blamed on America’s defiance of God like forbidding prayer in public schools and allowing abortion.” The fall of America will never cease and its foes will always find opportunities to enjoy America’s vulnerability, unless it repents of its wicked ways and returns to God.

Furthermore, Philip maintains that God promised to protect the nation who is obedient to Him. He will surround it with His “hedge of protection” and bless it with prosperity. The United States has been a powerful and prosperous nation, but can it maintain this lofty status forever? Threats are lingering and time is running out.
