Amyl and The Sniffers have unleashed their new video, directed by Dikayl Rimmasch, for “Some Mutts (Can’t Be Muzzled)”. The video was shot at the home of Dikayl towards the end of 20018 in the Yucca Valley, California, on the edge of the Joshua Tree desert. Watch it HERE.

Film-maker and photographer Dikayl has worked with Adele, Jay – Z, Lenny Kravitz, Blondie and Beyonce - who as a contributing director on LEMONADE won an MTV best director award for Long Form as well as a Peabody Award.

Frontwoman Amy Taylor explains: “Some Mutts is about being a crazy bitch and not shrinking just because someone expects you to or makes fun of you for being unconventional or non-coy. I’m saying fuck yeah I’m glad I didn’t change or contain myself for anyone, and if you want someone submissive then you can have each other, and I’ll just live what’s right for me. I’m saying I’m going to be whether people like it or not. It’s like a break up song, but also like a breaking up with anyone at all trying to cut you down. 

The video we shot over a weekend out in LA. We got to stay at the clip makers house out in the desert around October last year. there neighbor was a stunt BMX so that was sick to watch. but yeah we went to this cool property nearby their place in the desert and fucked around and filmed it out on their neighbours property. It was just us and then 3 of them, Dikayl, Leyden and a polish man called Ted. It was very much spontaneous magic that we got to make it up by the fly of our pants, it was really exciting. They are both legends and really looked after us.”
