Book on pre-tribulation theology by Walter Madenford will be displayed at the 2019 Beijing International Book Fair

Christian author Walter Madenford published his book late last year titled “Going Against the Tide Prophetically: An Assessment of Current Teachings from The Pre-Tribulation Viewpoint” (ReadersMagnet). Readers will get the chance to check out its public exhibit at the 2019 Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF) on August 21-25, 2019 at the New China International Exhibition Center, (NCIEC), Shunyi District, Beijing, China.
 
Organized by the China National Publications Import & Export (Group) Corporation, a state-owned enterprise, the BIBF is considered by many as one of the top international book fairs; indeed, it is the second largest book fair in the world. The Chinese book market is the largest in the world by volume and the second largest in terms of purchasing power parity (PPP) after that of the U.S.
 
The book fair is committed to the promotion of reading, copyright trading of Chinese and foreign publications and digital media publications, and import and export of physical books, with STEM, academic and children’s titles – in English – at the forefront.
 
In 2018, the BIBF attracted 300,000 visitors and hosted more than 2,500 publishers and exhibitors from 93 countries and regions, as well as 1,300 journalists.  
 
Madenford’s book “Going Against the Tide Prophetically” will be exhibited by ReadersMagnet at the 2019 BIBF.
 
A product of nearly 60 years of study on eschatology and millennialism, the book presents the author’s pre-tribulation rapture viewpoint and provides a more soothing approach to Bible prophecy. He sees prophecy as unfolding in the modern world. Contemporary nation-states, such as Russia and Britain, he speculates, represent various “beasts” of prophecy. He even presents theories about whom the “Antichrist” might be and scenarios of where world war might play out based on contemporary geopolitics. He connects Chinese bomber jets, nicknamed “flying leopards” to prophetic winged beasts and Russia to biblical references to a great bear.
 
“Going Against the Tide Prophetically” consists corrections and alterations to long-held views on the pre-tribulation rapture. From a pre-tribulation rapture position, the author aims to present his assessment of events, characters, and meanings (or purposes) of these events.
