A fun story with folksy artwork and cute animals!

Fancy a children’s book with folksy artwork? Then pick up a copy of “The Helium Egg.” Written by retired dermatologist E. Dorinda Shelley and illustrated by children’s book illustrator Eleanor A. Hutton, this is the second book in The Helium Series.

“The Helium Egg” introduces readers to the animals in the barn owned by the family of a young girl named Kath, whose father is a doctor. The story starts with a little black hen discovering a strange egg which is soft and blue.  It also rapidly expands in size and starts to float.

Surprised by the phenomenon, all the animals including ducks, geese, donkeys, sheep, cats, dogs, and peacocks, sit on the egg to try to weight it down and keep it inside the barn. What hatches out brings a bigger surprise to both animals and readers.

What is it? Read all about it in E. Dorinda Shelley’s “The Helium Egg.” Order a copy today through Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

Await the display of this fun children’s book at the upcoming 2019 American Library Association Annual Conference & Exhibition on June 21-24, 2019 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.
