ABIH® LinkedIn Group Celebrates 1100+ Members and Growing

The American Board of Industrial Hygiene® (ABIH®) utilizes LinkedIn and other social media platforms to share information, updates, and promote certification with the CIH® and QEP® credentials.

Lansing, MI – WEBWIRE

We invite all CIHs, QEPs, and others in the environmental, health, and safety professions to join the discussions at the ABIH® LinkedIn group.

The American Board of Industrial Hygiene’s LinkedIn group recently reached a new milestone with its 1100th member. The LinkedIn group has been growing at a steady rate as Certified Industrial Hygienists, Qualified Environmental Professionals (QEPs), and the industrial hygienist and environmental communities increasingly turn to social media for news, updates, and industry information.

ABIH® currently uses its LinkedIn group to post updates about the Certified Industrial Hygienist® (CIH®) and QEP® programs, promote industry certifications, and announce meetings and upcoming tradeshows the association will be participating in. It also provides a venue for industrial hygiene and environmental, health and safety professionals from across the globe to communicate and learn from industry leaders.

“Social media has been a convenient and rapid way for ABIH® to disseminate information and to allow industry professionals to share ideas, challenges, and employment opportunities,” said Dirk Yamamoto, PhD, CIH® and Chair of ABIH®. “We invite all CIHs, QEPs, and others in the environmental, health, and safety professions to join the discussions at the ABIH® LinkedIn group. Don’t miss out on updates and news from ABIH® or the opportunity to network and ask questions of your peers. In addition to LinkedIn, ABIH® encourages our Diplomates and industry professionals to also follow and engage with us on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.”
