Friday, November 10, 2006 - PLANO, Texas – UGS Corp., a leading provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) products and services, today announced UGS-sponsored racing teams Joe Gibbs Racing and Hendrick Motorsports – whose cars are developed with the help of UGS® PLM technology – finished 1-2 at the Dickies 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.
Joe Gibbs Racing driver Tony Stewart, the 2005 NASCAR® NEXTEL Cup Champion and winner of the 2002 Winston Cup title, who won the Bass Pro Shops 500 last week, took the checkered flag again at the Dickies 500 to make it two in row and five for the season.

Hendrick Motorsports driver Jimmie Johnson, who won four races this season and is only the second driver in race history to win both the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway and the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard at Indianapolis Motor Speedway – the two biggest races – in the same year, came in second and took the point lead in the Chase.
