About the Author
Elizabeth Rea is a retired teacher with degrees in Psychology, Education, and School Counseling.  Whether in public or private school classrooms, in volunteer work, in church education classes, or with her own children and grandchildren, Liz has been involved with children and teens her entire life.

Liz has taught all ages from Preschool to Middle School in several U.S. states as well as overseas, where she began her career in Sydney, Australia.  Reading and Creative Writing were her favorite subjects to teach.

When asked about her favorite age, Liz answered that she likes all ages and phases of kids, but, if pressed, she admits to having a particular fondness for ’tweens and teens. This age group appeals to Liz because “They are just beginning to find themselves--to decide who they are and what kind of person they want to be.  It seems whoever I write about, teens, young adults, or adults, I always focus in on the characters’ personal struggles.  What makes them tick?  What in their childhood has made them into the person they are today?”
