Waupaca, Wisconsin, USA – WEBWIRE

The author brings a unique way to experience important chapters of Jesus’ ministry to give glory to God and enlighten His people.

Wayne M. Becker presents a unique perspective about one of the sacred scriptures of the Bible. The book details these different viewpoints taken from the principal figures from Jesus’ life for readers, both Christians and non-Christians alike, to paint a more detailed and complete picture about His story written in the Gospel of Mark.

“Voices from Mark” shares a well-referenced and informative retelling of specific events or portions described firsthand by well-known characters from the Bible. These are speakers such as King Herod and Mary Magdalene. There are also narratives told by the disciples such as Philip, James, John, Peter, and Judas Iscariot. Other than that, readers will also discover perspectives from minor figures such as a Pharisee, a Roman centurion, a blind beggar, and a few others.

While this allows readers to know more about Jesus’ story through the eyes of these characters, Becker remains true to the Scriptures. Not only that, he includes endnotes to give readers a scriptural basis of each narrative. Readers will get to discover a vivid and fast-paced retelling of Jesus’ story that’s both innovative and thought-provoking. Most of all, the author brings a unique way to experience important chapters of Jesus’ ministry to give glory to God and enlighten His people.

Soon, Becker’s moving and informative book will join the highly-anticipated 2019 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books on April 13-14, 2019. During this two-day literary celebration, “Voices from Mark” will be displayed alongside hundreds of other books from different types of genres! Be sure not to miss it!
