Homegrown terrorists, fueled by their religious conservatism, manipulates nanotechnology to carry out their sinister plot of worldwide ramifications.

Assad R. Wright, the author of “The Ring, The Bomb and the Word,” returns with a new book, which is bigger, bolder and equally entertaining and exciting as the first one. “Hijacking of the American Presidency: Terrorists in the White House” (SBPRA, 2016) brings back Agent Chuck Chisolm and the religious unit of the Department of Homeland Security Anti-Terrorism Task Force, which, once again, are called to thwart a religiopolitical terror plot.

The Republican front-runner Senator Lincoln Madison get paralyzed in the middle of his speech at the New Hampshire Primary. Minutes later, he is declared dead and the race to the White House is thrown into chaos. Chisolm and his fellow operatives investigate the senator’s sudden death.

Meanwhile, a splinter group from the Evangelical Right, fed up with the government’s nonchalance and inaction over vital issues, plot to hijack the White House to carry out their political agenda, one of which is to nuke America’s enemies. To accomplish this, they are willing to subvert the Constitution, assassinate political figures, and manipulate the country’s leading scientists in the field of nanotechnology, which they used to murder Senator Madison.

Abounding with the intrigue of religious conservatism, the explosiveness of politics, and the thrill and suspense of narration, “Hijacking of the American Presidency: Terrorists in the White House” makes a satisfying, delightful read, a gripping entertainment in the midst of the current political climate.

Assad R. Wright’s “Hijacking of the American Presidency: Terrorists in the White House” will soon be displayed at the upcoming 2019 American Library Association Annual on June 21 to 24, 2019 in Anaheim, CA.
