Converse Artist Series Curated by Tyler, the Creator

Artist Series is a new global Foot Locker exclusive collection curated by Tyler, the Creator. The sneakers feature art by Wyatt Navarro, Tyler’s friend, and Norwegian Øyvind Lauvdahl, who he discovered on Instagram.

The themes Navarro and Lauvdahl convey through their artwork are at once similar and unique to their local realities.  

Wyatt’s doodles on the Converse Chuck 70 form a dreamy, semi-colorful print on parchment canvas reminiscent of vibrant Los Angeles street art. Meanwhile, Øyvind’s melancholy black-and-white scheme on the One Star conveys the isolation of Norway in the dark winter months. The two artists also collaborated on a Chuck 70, presented with split side designs to show their contrasting creative points of view.

The three sneakers release November 26.
