About the Author
The author is a native of Fort Myers, Florida. She moved to Sarasota, Florida where she continued her teacher-counselor career in 1988. She retired in 2010 but returned to work to help the GED students with their GED. That experience led to them sharing their stories, and improving their writing skills. That motivation led to her becoming an author.
